Lightweight and comfortable helmet that is easy to adjustThe Lazer Z1 is not only a lightweight helmet, it is also very comfortable and safe. It features the Advanced Rollsys Retention System (ARS) for adjusting the fit easily and with one hand. The height can be adjusted via the Adjustable Head Basket. Plus, the helmet is very comfortable to wear.
In-Mold construction and MIPS for optimal protection
The fact that the Lazer Z1 is very lightweight, does not mean it is less safe. To ensure your safety, it features a combination of the MIPS system and the Inside In-Mold System, whereby 4 layers are sprayed together to create one protective layer. The MIPS system consists of a low-friction inner layer between the EPS lining and the padding with elastic attachments. This ensures a bit of play in the event of a fall; the helmet can shift and rotate relative to the head to absorb the lateral and rotational forces involved in a fall better. In helmets without MIPS, by comparison, the blow is only absorbed by the EPS lining that compresses.
31 vents to prevent overheating
The Lazer Z1 MIPS helmet has 31 ventilation openings, so you will have a constant cooling airflow running over your head. Even during bike rides on hot days, the chance of your head overheating is minimal.

Goede helm, blij met deze aankoop
Ik heb al meerdere ritten met deze helm gereden en deze bevalt mij heel erg. Ik zat precies tussen een M en een L in qua hoofdomtrek en heb in eerste instantie voor de grote maat gekozen. Bij deze helm moest ik de helm op de kleinst mogelijke stand afstellen en zag de helm er enorm uit als ik deze op had. Vervolgens heb ik ook een M besteld en de L terug gestuurd. Qua omvang is de M behoorlijk kleiner dan de L en ik heb de afstelling niet eens op de grootste stand staan, er is in de winter dus nog plaats voor een muts.

Excellent helmet
Excellent helmet, very well ventilated and super comfortable. Only downside is that the aeroshell is not in the package (I would gladly pay a little extra for it). I could not justify the price difference for the Genesis, and I am very happy with my purchase.

Outstanding quality and possibility of adjustment with lights, life beam, aero cover etc. makes this very versatile product. It has some cons, but in no way these out stand the pros. The min thing against i that the straps around ears are sitting too close to the back of the ear, and you can feel that you have the helmet on your head. Ventilation in MIPS version is not perfect, It's not recommended for long rides in a heat.
