Description
The Mantel R50D TLR Disc wheels have front and rear thru-axles in the standard sizes 100 x 12 and 142 x 12 respectively. The hubs have a good seal and durable industrial bearings. As the name suggests, the rims are tubeless ready. The rims feel fast and can withstand strong winds. Aerodynamics tests show that in crosswinds the Mantel R50D TLR road bike wheels perform even better than the popular Zipp 303 wheels. Only in frontal winds their score is but a fraction lower.
Disc brakes offer aerodynamics combined with the best braking performance in all conditions. So, if you're planning on riding in the mountains, you can absolutely do so.
If you’re looking for an affordable, stiff, 50 mm high carbon wheelset, the Mantel R50D TLR Disc wheels are a very good choice!
Technology
Tubeless readyYou can hardly see it! The tubeless tape has been fitted very nicely and tightly and is the same colour as the rims. The wheels also come with tubeless valves which fit the rim perfectly. If you want to ride tubeless, you will require tubeless tyres and latex liquid, and no inner tubes. This brings many benefits in terms of performance, as it reduces your rolling resistance significantly, increases traction, and optimises ride comfort. The main advantage is that you will not have to stop in case of a puncture, as the latex fills the puncture within seconds thanks to small grains that accumulate under the hole.
Compatibility
Note! Does not fit Giant TCR Advanced Disc KOM 2018 - 2020 forks.The wheels do fit all other Giant TCR Advanced Disc models.

Fantastic wheels - so glad I bought them!
Absolutely fantastic wheels. I’ve been shopping around for a long time but in the end decided on these wheels and I am absolutely amazed. I’ve set them up on my Canyon Ultimate with a new cassette, chain and discs, and am running them with Pinarello P Zero Race 28 mm tyres (with inner tubes). Don’t know what problems other people had with the rim tape - I’ve checked it carefully and it was perfect (I had even bought some spare tape already just in case!). They feel fantastic, are fast, the freewheel has a great sound and once you go faster than 30 kph they make this whooshing sound which I love! The tyres were easy to fit, no need for tyre levers to get them on, which is a VERY big plus for me too as I do a lot of solo rides in the middle of nowhere and need to be able to fix a puncture without help or calling the broom wagon which happened to me a few times with my previous wheels. If you are thinking of getting carbon wheels with 50 mm rim, go for it - it makes a huge difference! They do catch the wind in the cross winds but this is to be expected.

Super Preis/Leistung und Fahrgefühl!
1A Räder! Kommen wirklich Tubeless Ready. Ventil und Band schon vormontiert. Fahre sie mit einem Schwalbe One 28mm. Leider ist die Vorderradnabe etwas zu breit für meine Canyon Endurace gabel, ich habe zusäthlich eine 1mm breite unterlegscheibe , damit die radnabe nicht am Lack schleift. Es ist wirklich minimal. Hatte die Räder schon Tubeless montiert und konnte sie deshalb nicht zurück schicken. Ich liebe die Räder und bin froh dass ich es nicht zurück geschickt habe
